Since the reserve was founded in 2002, it has almost entirely been funded out of Alan and Sylvia's own pockets. In 2019, the trust was set up with the goal of safeguarding the reserve for years to come, and as part of this the reserve needs to be self-sustaining. We therefore have a number of ways in which you can support us.
All proceeds from these channels goes directly to the trust.
Becoming a member of Tean Valley Meadow Nature Trust helps support our work to develop the nature reserve.
Being a member also comes with a number of perks:
Membership costs £24 a year, or £12 for under 18s. We also offer a family membership for 2 adults and up to 2 children for £50 a year.
To become a member or find out more, simply send us an email or call us.
We have an Etsy shop
, selling TVM-themed gifts and products from the reserve.Living With Barn Owls in the Wild is a DVD film produced by Alan and Sylvia. It contains 60 mins of footage from the reserve, following a pair of Barn Owls as they roost and raise their young over a summer.
